Move Complete

The move to our new purpose built 11,000 sq. ft facility is now complete, our new address is Pro-Kits Ltd, The Sidings, Off Debdale Lane, Mansfield Woodhouse, Nottinghamshire, NG19 7FE

Nothing ventured nothing gained.

Along with moving into our new building we have also invested in two new ventures, the first being a separate unit to house our powder coating company. This new wholly owned subsidiary company was deemed a sensible move as more and more people are moving away from wet spray to powder coating & we at Pro-kits ltd saw the potential to create a stand alone business. This process has a faster turnaround time and produces a tougher finish as it is baked at high temperatures; it is our hope that it will give us greater flexibility when offering powder coating as a finish to our goods.

Our second investment took us in to the world of worm gearboxes. For a number of years we had purchased our gears from both the UK and Europe through third party distributors; however this was not an ideal solution for a number of reasons. We always had in our sights that one day we would develop our own range of gears, and so the time came and we started our other wholly owned subsidiary company Pro-Gear Ltd. This time we had input in the design of the components and total control of costs etc, which led us to a well designed and cost effective gearbox. RGS partnership great success

The partnership between Pro-kits ltd and RGS Electro Pneumatics known in the industry as RGS Plus Ltd continues to beat all expectations with a remarkable growth over the last 3 years. RGS sales manager Steve Hood comments: "the introduction of RGS plus was a major move towards expanding sales of the RGS range of solenoids in the market place, it has out performed our expectations year on year and long may it continue. The success can be attributed not only to the product and its ex stock availability but also the unique knowledge of the industry and the customers that a partnership with Pro-kits Ltd brings."
